In addition, the model received two cameras at once - the main one with 0.69 megapixels. and frontal with a resolution (640 x 480), gyroscope and dual-core processor.

Most of the other specs, apart from the more powerful processor, have remained at the same level. Visually, the gadget was distinguished by the edging of the Home button, which coincides in shade with the body.

Apple had a special challenge this year. She needed to do something more perfect than the iPad 2, although, due to its popularity and the sluggish development of Android tablets, in general it did not need an update. Therefore, the Cupertinians decided to focus on the main problem in their second "pill". And, frankly speaking, the efforts expended were not in vain. The new iPad has become even more perfect, overtaking its closest competitors in all respects.

All the best deals on iPads (there are even 10 thousand cheaper than the market). They change something and even give it away for free.

The box for the new iPad is no different from last year's tablet. High-quality white cardboard, a minimum amount of waste paper, a cable, a charger and two miniature apple stickers. The main difference from all other generations is the picture of the iPad itself, on the springboard of which a new blue "wallpaper" is installed.

Frightened by the reviews of the first buyers of iPad 3, I took it out of the box and began to twirl it in my hands. I tried to feel the increased weight and thickness, but fortunately, I could not notice either one or the other. When I found the Power / Lock Home button, I pressed it and saw it - new screen with a resolution of 2048 by 1536 pixels!

Finally after iPhone screen 4 / 4S on iPad display you can watch with the same pleasure! Icons standard applications and the entire interface of the iOS operating system just comes to life before our eyes. I peered at the Facetime and icons for a long time, but I still could not see at least some hint of a pixel. I have little idea of people running down the street and taking pictures on the iPad, but due to the weight of the tablet, there will be less blur in the pictures than on the same iPhone :) The iPad 3 sensor is comparable to the iPhone 4 - it processes information there and there Omnivision OV5650 with an operating temperature range of -30 to 70 ° C and an active cell size of 1.75 microns (versus 1.4 microns for the iPhone 4S).

Testing conducted by Apple in February 2012 using preproduction iPad units and software. Testing consisted of full battery discharge while performing each of the following tasks: video playback, audio playback, and Internet browsing using Wi-Fi or cellular data network. 1. First of all, this is a display - bright, the resolution is simply amazing. After that it is not very pleasant to look at the laptop screen (the resolution on it is 1280x800). 2. Filling. The device is very fast. Compared to the first iPad, everything opens instantly. Fast not only on the Internet and small programs, but also in games. Not a single game has been buggy for me yet. 3. Design, here few people will catch up with apple. 4. iOS. Intuitive OS, well thought out and optimized. Plus a huge number of applications for every taste. And about being closed - I personally don't see anything bad here. There will be fewer viruses. Jail, if desired, is done with just one click of a button in the corresponding program. Although I do not use it ... 5. Battery. Holds for a long time. With active wi-fi, you have time to watch two movies for 9 minutes

1. Wi-Fi - sometimes it loses the network. Finds within fifteen minutes. I don’t understand yet what this trouble is connected with.
2. Lack of flash - yes, it's unpleasant. In the same VC there is a lot of content built on flash. But - there's nothing you can do about it.
3. Weight - you cannot hold this tablet with one hand for more than half an hour. All the same, the weight is very, very noticeable.

Now, if there was a button to turn it off for a while, otherwise you read something on the Internet, accidentally touch it somewhere with your finger - right there a new page jumps to you. You have to poke a return arrow. So 2-3 seconds are lost. As the owner of the aimag, I didn't even have to get used to the tablet - everything is the same and the logic of work is familiar. Well, except that there is no finder and dock. Well, for PC owners, I think out of habit that everything floats and spreads, it may seem like a frivolous toy. However, this is not surprising. So, for example, in the twentieth century, the "LEICA" camera was first mistaken for a toy, and our children in "labor camps" collected a copy of it.

1. Heating. Before the purchase, I thought that the story with heating is an attempt by haters to lower the popularity of the tablet. However, having bought it, I found that it really is warming up. Sometimes quite strong (if you play heavy games like Infinity Blade)
2. Charges for a long time. Not critical, of course, but if it is discharged to 10%, and after an hour it needs to be taken somewhere urgently, then during this time it will be charged up to a maximum of 30%.
I did not find any more shortcomings.
